Not entirely, I mean resists play a part, but they play a part in every mob in the game so Idk how that'd count lol. RDM Maat Fight has always been about blind luck. So like I stated earlier a bit more variety in the npc's would be great. Of course Ulmia and Joachim are good for brd buffs, but that's all I can really say for them. Healer A.E.'s will always be useful for that extra or much needed cure, Valaineral will imo always be the more preferred tank of the tank alter egos, and if I want something dead fast I just need to pull out both Ajido-Marujido and Shantotto for a quick Magic Burn. Not one npc does anything special that makes them more useful than the next.

Also other than being useful for early solo leveling and as of this next patch useful for early pre-ToAU missions, acquiring the alter egos just feels like I'm playing Pokemon with a Final Fantasy XI special npc skin on them. I'm curious to see how Nash plays out seeing as how we might not get her with the pups. I think that it would also be nice to see some sort of variety with the alter egos instead of the typical tank/healer/attacker mode npcs. It's fine that they kept him in tune with the character and all, but at lvl 99 with ilvl gear equipped I kinda expected him to do a bit more both magical and physical dmg, but instead he hits for far less than he should.

Ajido-Marujido at times can cast way too much and then sometimes he doesn't cast at all even with a full mp pool. You know what, I'd liked to see them make a few more adjustments to the current alter egos and their A.I. She may also use Benediction and/or Hundred Fists. More on Prishe, she was never a "Stand back, Cure V, Protect, Haste" type of WHM, they based most of these NPCs off their Personality and in game combat mechanics. If you want a good WHM, use Mihli Aliapoh, shes awesome. Plus, Prishe is more fun and enjoyable as a fighter than she ever would be as a boring WHM. Sure during CoP she'd occasionally nuke Banish or Holy, but overall she spent more time meleeing than Curing or Nuking. But you also have to understand a Pet having a pet would probably making this over decade year old game implode on itself.Īlso, Prishe was more a puncher than anything. WHMs are the most useful Alter Egos, and we have very few choices right now (this is why I'd rather have Prishe be full WHM and sub monk she'd be the top tier of usefulness, since physical DD alter egos lose usefulness at high levels). So basically, I just want the puppets and better/cooler WHMs. Prishe was botched and Cherukki is just Kupipi with different hair and now what's Ingrid going to do? Spam Holy and Banish, or be retconned into another job? I'd like to have a more interesting WHM than a Tarutaru or Mihli. Given her personality, it makes sense, but it would be nice to have more choices for our healer trust NPCs. That's like a Prishe with gimped white magic (oh, wait.) or a Shantotto with no staff (oh wait.) or a Curilla with no provoke (oh, wait.) except that it's fixable without modifying Nashmeira herself.Īnd I see that the WHM Ingrid is listed as an offensive caster.
